A Certificate is issued by a County Court Judge. When Distress May Be Made A Distress for Rent may only be made between sunrise and sunset. A Distress for Rent before sunrise or after sunset is illegal, even though there may be daylight. Even though distraining after sunset is an irregularity it may be waived if the tenant agrees.
